Who we are
Hi, I’m Lauren Papanos — the host of the Strength in Hormones Podcast and a nationally licensed and registered dietitian nutritionist with advanced specialties in sports nutrition, functional medicine, and hormonal health.
I created Strength in Hormones after walking through my own struggles with thyroid and hormonal imbalances. As an athlete and high-performing woman, I felt completely burnt out by the very workouts that were supposed to help me feel strong. That’s when I partnered with my now-husband, Joe — an athletic performance coach with over a decade of experience training female athletes — to completely redesign my workouts around my hormones.
Together, we combined science, strategy, and a more intuitive approach to movement that allowed me to heal, regain strength, and truly thrive again. Now, through our training program and my weekly podcast episodes, I help other driven women do the same.
